15.JULY to 07.AUGUST 2011

BELEF - Belgrade Summer Festival 201115.JUL – 07.AUG

The spirit of Belgrade in the course of summer is marked by the Belgrade Summer Festival, BELEF. This festival gathers three large artistic disciplines: performing arts (theatre and contemporary dance), visual arts (video art, installations, prints and performances) and music. Through numerous tours, self productions and co-productions with cultural institutions and similar summer festivals, BELEF urges to go further in engaging, fostering and developing creative potentials of artists and individuals, as well as giving reply to the needs of the audience. In interaction with the surroundings, animating new urban spaces as venues of cultural events, Belgrade Summer Festival tends to tell a story about Belgrade, as big city and its tolerant, communicative and urban essence.
